“The thing I enjoy about working with her is she’s acquired enough experience and experienced the game long enough with several different professional teams that she’s definitely, in a lot involving ways, someone you can reversal ideas off, ” Waldrum revealed. “She buys into the way we want to play, but she’s also very prepared come in and declare ‘Hey, what do you look at this? ’, which is great.
“Most of my workforce, quite frankly, are young. I don’t have many those older, experienced players on this squad, so when we do have her around at training, she’s really good with that [providing her wisdom as well as experience].
“I think the other piece is she’s generally there afterwards doing extra work, which I think perfect for the young players to determine. A player of stature ready to stick around and perform extra fitness work or maybe extra ball work, whatever it might end up being, she’s almost always there investing in the extra time. It’s really nice to work with players like that with a day-to-day basis. ”
